Forming bonds with partners

Forming stronger bonds with partners requires careful preparation. Our partners are not familiar with our organization. They must feel secure. We must make it easy for them to be associated with our events. This experience must be stimulating, not stressful.
You must inform your partners of your responsibilities very quickly. In the same vein, they must feel that you have a good command of all workings of the event, both from the standpoint of services and facilities to salaried and volunteer staff.
You must be ready to answer financial and administrative questions: who will benefit from the effects of the sponsorship? How will the money and products be administered?
Do not hesitate to participate in formal committees. Ensure that the emcee is up to par. He/she must be familiar with his/her responsibilities relating to the recognition of sponsors, their participation in awards ceremonies and their level of commitment to the event. For your part, you are in business. Each event is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds you have with your partners
