2008 DND Photography Contest
Important Dates 2008
15 - 16 October: The judging will take place in Bldg M-23 of the National Research Council, Montreal Road Campus in Ottawa.
27 October - 7 November: With the judging complete, it will be the People's Choice! The 2008 winning photos will be available for on-line viewing and you will be able to vote for your favorite in the online People's Choice Award.
17 November: The 2008 Opening Ceremonies and Major Awards Luncheon will take place at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa beginning at 11am.

What's new in 2008!
The Contest Goes Digital!
For the first time the DND Photography Contest will accept images only in digital format making the contest more accessible to members of the CF community.
We’re introducing a new category: “Animals.”
This new category will include photographs depicting, for example, domestic pets, amphibians, wildlife, zoo life, farm animals, and insects. The Environment Category will continue to host photographs of flora, landscapes, nature, sunsets, urban landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, farms, etc…
This change increases the number of entries per photographer from 7 to 8.
Participants: Be sure to review this year’s rules to ensure proper delivery of entries and for full definitions of the categories.
