Golf Course Etiqette
Damage caused with the greens - Flags, bags, etc.
The players should take care that by depositing bags or flag, they do not damage the green and that themselves or their juniors do not damage the hole while too being held close, by handling the flag or by withdrawing the ball of the hole.
The flag should be correctly replaced in the hole before the players do not leave the green.
The players should not damage the green while resting on their putter, in particular when they withdraw the ball of the hole.
The damage caused with the greens by the nails of the shoes should carefully be repaired once the hole finished by all the players of the part.
A player must make sure that any damage made by a ball on the green is repaired. The not-repaired marks of ball take from two to three weeks for a complete cure. The correctly repaired marks of ball take only from 24 to 48 hours to be completely cured.
It is under the responsibility of any golfor concerned of its adventure playground to repair the mark made by its ball “pitch”, and all those which fall under its “changing pitch” (i.e. even those left by the preceding parts), while his/her colleagues prepare or carry out their blow.
It is very easy to repair a mark of ball well but some instructions are to be respected.
Use a “changing pitch” especially designed to repair the marks of balls, insert it into the accesses of the mark, and not into the center of the depression. Bring back the accesses together with delicate rotational movements. Do not raise especially the center. Level surface with your putter or your foot.
