Note: Founder/organizer of the Canadian Amateur Boxing Association. He introduced the use of compulsory headgear for amateur boxing throughout the world. He held numerous positions within the Amateur International Boxing Association, including Executive Committee and Technical Commission appointments. He was the Technical Consultant for boxing at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal and he organized the World Cup Boxing Championship held in Montreal in 1981. He was also inducted into the Canadian Amateur Sports Hall of Fame and the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame.
