Environmental Scan - Location of Canadian Forces Families

At the Canadian Forces (CF) Family Services Summit II, Major-General Semianiw, Chief Military Personnel, designated reporting the composition and location of CF families as a top priority for Director Military Family Services (DMFS) and Canadian/Military Family Resource Centres (C/MFRCs).

To that end, an online environmental scan has been established for C/MFRCs to report on the mechanisms they currently use to collect information on CF personnel and their families. With the results, DMFS will be in a better position to support C/MFRC efforts in capturing this key demographic data.

C/MFRCs should complete this on-line survey prior to 31 July 2009. MFRCs are also asked to ensure that a separate survey is completed for each satellite location.
