Caterina Perry Receives CEOs Award of Exceptional Merit

Director Military Family Services (DMFS) extends warm congratulations to Caterina Perry, the Regional Manager of the Military Family Services Program Europe. Caterina has been awarded a 2008 Chief Executive Officer’s Award of Exceptional Merit. She was recognized by Brigadier-General D.E. Martin, CEO of the Staff of the Non-Public Funds (NPF), for her tireless dedication to improving the procedures, policies and funding levels of Canadian Military Family Resource Centres in Europe.

Caterina was shocked by the honour and delighted to have her work recognized.

“It meant so much to me,” she said. “I believe in this program wholeheartedly. I believe in the challenges that military families face, and the success of the family services program working for them. There is so much value in the military family – they are so strong, and they always stand behind the military member. This job is a passion and a challenge; I really do put my whole heart into it.”

The CEO’s Award of Exceptional Merit is an annual honour given to NPF employees who go above and beyond expectations in their work. Recipients exemplify the Staff of the NPF’s objectives by using their creativity, energy and drive to enhance the quality of services offered to military members and their families.

DMFS thanks Caterina for the enthusiastic effort she brings to working with military families, and applauds her success. Congratulations, Caterina!
