The CF participates in international sports as a member of the Conseil international du sport militaire (CISM), an international military sports organization with 128 member countries. CISM holds more than 20 competitions annually. Canada currently participates in basketball, fencing, golf, running, sailing, shooting, soccer, swimming, taekwondo, triathlon, volleyball and wrestling.
