On August 17, Shirley Tang-Jassemi assumed the responsibilities of Director Corporate Accounting Services within CFPSAs Accounting and Payroll Services team. The other Director position was staffed on October 30th and will be covered in the next Apropos.
Pascal Béland moved to Geilenkirchen, Germany at the end of September to perform the duties of IM/IT Technical Support Specialist. He is now responsible for the CFSU (E) and NATEX networks, equipment, and software, including support for the Store Management Suite used by NATEX to manage its retail operations, and will oversee the integration with the wide area NPF network.
Pascal has been a very strong member of our small CFPSA network support team during the past five years. His high level of energy, dedication and positive attitude will be missed in Ottawa. While our Ottawa users undoubtedly miss Pascals expertise, our European users stand to gain significantly as we embark on various initiatives to improve connectivity and optimize the use of our IM/IT resources overseas.
