And the winner is …

One of the first ‘important’ duties recently performed by the new Base Commander at CFB Shilo was selecting the winner of the CANEX Backyard BBQ Contest.
Congratulations go to Mr. Bob Long, a Commissionaire on base. Mr. Long will receive all the fixings for a backyard steak barbeque for 10 people. The CANEX manager and a few staff will go to Mr. Long’s house and cook the entire feast right in his backyard. The cooks will leave everything behind after the meal, including the new barbeque and tank!
To enter the contest, which runs each year from the beginning of July until the end of August, patrons must submit minimum $50 of CANEX receipts displaying their Club Xtra number, along with their name, into a draw box at the SuperMart.
