Official Languages Action Plan for staff of the NPF, CF

Executive Management Board (ExMB) approved the Official Languages (OL) Action Plan in Spring 06. The emphasis will be placed on improving communications, commitment and the day-to-day integration of the Official Languages Program. The first step will be to examine and attribute a language designation of all NPF positions and functions and establish language profiles. The identification of bilingual positions or functions will be such that, in the future, CFPSA will have bilingual persons assigned to the right location at the right time (where applicable) which will enable us to meet our commitments under the OL Act. Moreover, CFPSA will put on its calendar several OL awareness sessions for all employees, managers and HR managers. As an organization, we will continue to put in place the commitment and infrastructure necessary to sustain our official languages capacity on an ongoing basis.
