PSP Manager Loses Hair For The United Way
By Gina Gillespie
Jim Campbell, PSP Manager at CFB Kingston, is a man of action. So when he wanted to motivate his staff to fundraise for the 2005 United Way Campaign, he did more than just talk about it. He put his head on the chopping block (well his hair anyway.) Jim volunteered to shave his head if his staff raised $5,000 for the United Way Campaign. The desire to see the boss balded was strong enough that they raised double the required amount. From dunk tanks and BBQs, to a special golf tax and loose change day gate trolls, the imaginative PSP and CFPSA staff pulled out all the stops, raising over $10,000.
I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to help out this years campaign, says a recently shorn Jim Campbell. The organizers, canvassers and participants did an AWESOME job!!
