In 1985, NATEX (division of CANEX) opened its doors at the NATO E3A Component in Geilenkirchen, Germany, as the Components Exchange shopping centre. NATEX operates seven retail outlets on the base, profiling leading international brands with the focus on a one-stop Duty Free shopping experience. Over the years, NATEX has been an important contributor to the morale and welfare of this NATO Base, and to Canadian NPP as a whole.

The event was a big success, with phenomenal attendance and record-breaking sales -- over $1.18 million in three days! Customers were excited with the super savings on a vast array of products, and they enjoyed participating in the many activities, which included UNICEF charity fundraisers, contests and prize giveaways, fashion shows, food and beverage tastings, and a childrens corner. MGen Langton, CEO of CFPSA and Gerry Mahon, CANEX/NATEX President, took time from their busy schedules to attend. For a view of NATEX from your desktop, visit www.natex.de.
