As CFB Esquimalt’s new Fitness and Sports Director, Dave Molinari says he “will be working with a highly motivated, experienced and creative PSP staff.” Dave comes to the position with 26 years of military experience and an MA in industrial/organizational psychology, with a specialty in motivation and leadership. He joined the Canadian Forces in 1979 as a Marine Engineer Mechanic and was commissioned as a Personnel Selection Offi cer under the University Training Program for Non-Commissioned Members in 1987.
In his new capacity, Dave says he will be “developing fitness and sports programs specifically designed to meet the needs of the MARPAC defence team.”
Dave continues his athletic career, competing as a soccer player at the elite level. As an NCCP Level IV coach, he continues his involvement as head coach of the Women’s CF CISM Soccer Team.
He believes his “military background, education and experience as an athlete and coach at the grass roots and international level will be valuable in bringing fresh ideas and a clear vision to the job.”
