Train the Trainer for National Youth Model

Editor's note: This is a follow up to the article titled "Canadian Military Youth to Receive Enhanced Program" published in the Winter 2005 edition of Apropos.
The initial "train the trainer" session for the National Youth Model trainers was held in Ottawa from May 4 to 6, 2005. Participants represented an assortment of bases/wings/units across Canada and were from both PSP and MFRC environments.
Between July and September 2005, this team will hold training sessions at all CF community locations. The training provides the knowledge, skills and tools for staff and volunteers to implement the strategies of the National Youth Model, and supports the leadership development of CF community youth. These sessions will be financed nationally, and coordinated by the National Youth Project Team.
