On February 20, 2005 the Task Force Commander Col Semianiw presented Fernand Dery with the commander's coin for his invaluable assistance during the transition period between ROTO 2 and 3. Fern who normally works as Database Applications Support Specialist, is one of the two finance coordinators working at Op ATHENA. Between February 1 and 7, Fern worked almost around the clock stocktaking the clearance sale from ROTO 2 and clearing accounts receivable and payable. This is Fern's second ROTO in Op ATHENA. He was the accounting coordinator for ROTO 1.
