On December 22, Mr. Christian Roy, PSP Manager, 5 ASU, and Ms. Gaëtane Dion, editor of the Servir newspaper, were on hand when Mr. François Ménard, Advertising Consultant for the Servir newspaper (centre), was awarded a certificate of merit during a Christmas ceremony organized by PSP boasting a Hawaiian theme.

Mr. Ménard received a certificate for exceptional services within PSP.

Since taking on the position, Mr. Ménard has shown creativity, energy and dedication and has greatly contributed to enhancing the image of the Canadian Forces in his dealings with clients in the region who place ads in the base newspaper. Through his determination and positive attitude toward the military community, he has helped to significantly increase the newspaper’s revenues. Thanks to Mr. Menard’s contributions, the military community in the Montreal/Saint-Jean region benefits from an information tool that is constantly being improved. As a policy, PSP recognizes and rewards employees who have contributed to achieving organizational goals. The primary aim of this policy is to motivate employees and work teams to strive for consistently outstanding performance.

Each year, clients of the CANEX METRO in Valcartier can drop off food donations at the store entrance for military families in need on the base. Ms. Blanquiere, a representative for the campaign, as well as Mr. Jenkins, Manager of the Valcartier CANEX METRO, want to thank all the clients who helped make this 2004 campaign a great success.
