Mission Information Line Update

The Mission Information Line (MIL) continues to provide service to families of deployed CF members on operations overseas. Op ATHENA in Afghanistan is now operating under Roto 3, which began in February 2005. Roto 2 personnel have returned to Canada.
Ops BRONZE and BOREAS in the former Yugoslavia are providing support to SFOR during the transition to EUFOR, offering the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina an opportunity to rebuild community infrastructure such as schools, power-distribution systems and roads. In support of the DART deployment to Sri Lanka under Op STRUCTURE in January 2005, Message Box 131 was set up for families and friends to listen to. Thus far, the message box has been updated every three or four days.
Ops CALUMET and DANACA continue to provide support in the Middle East.
