Health Promotion Conference

The “Strengthening the Forces” (StF) health promotion program held its second national conference in Ottawa from October 19-22, 2004. The conference provided an opportunity to place the CF Health Promotion program in a global context and discuss updates on the four core program areas (nutrition wellness, social wellness, addiction and injury prevention).
Health Promoters from 25 sites across Canada were able to celebrate their many successes since the launch of the StF health promotion program in November 2002. Local delivery of the program is being provided by NPF employees of the PSP.
