Sports Award Ceremony

On Oct. 16, three hundred people, including NPF employees and CF members from across Canada, attended the 16th Annual CF Sports Awards Ceremony in Ottawa. Themed Unsung Heroes - The Heart of CF Sports, this event honoured the athletes, coaches and officials who work at the base, wing and unit level to make the CF sports program successful. The ceremony boasted a record number of 10 corporate sponsors, including: Presenting Sponsor SISIP FS; Gold Sponsors The Royal Canadian Legion, 3M Canada, Labatt Breweries of Canada, Hertz Canada Ltd. and CANJET Airlines; Silver Sponsors BMO Financial Group and Moores Clothing For Men; and Bronze Sponsors Xerox Canada and Dracks Military Plaques.

An event of this magnitude requires the involvement of solid and dedicated team players with varying aptitudes working in the background to make everything unfold smoothly.
