The Mission Information Line welcomes a new staff member to the team. Linda Orrell will be replacing Christine Sulek while she is on maternity leave.
Linda previously worked for the Vanier Community Service Centre as an Employment Counselor and Youth Group Coordinator. She brings several years of crisis counseling experience to the Mission Information Line.
Christine Sulek and her partner welcomed their first child into the world on August 10th, a baby girl, Karla, weighing seven pounds three ounces.
In military news, a new Roto took over Afghanistan's Op ATHENA in August.
Op PALLADIUM ceased operations in September 2004. It will be replaced by the closing group under Op BRONZE.
Op HALO members returned to Canada in mid-August, concluding that operation. There are currently two members still in Haiti under Op HAMLET.
