CEOs Award of Exceptional Merit

The CEO's Award of Exceptional Merit is presented to teams or employees who have exceeded expectations in performing their duties and responsibilities. By so doing, they have contributed to the achievement of the mission, goals and objectives of NPF.
MGen Langton, CEO of CFPSA, is proud to present the recipients of the CEO's Award of Exceptional Merit for FY 2003/2004 to the following teams and employees:
Lynne Gustoski, Accounting Clerk, CFB Petawawa
In recognition of her contribution to the accomplishment of the mission, goals and objectives of CFPSA during her tenure at CFB Petawawa. Lynne demonstrated a high level of performance, including initializing a new accounting program, which resulted in increased performance. As acting supervisor, Lynne used her superior leadership skills to institute the cashier's office.
National Payroll Team (CFPSA HQ Finance Division)
Annie Wilkie, Nicola Robinson-Soike, Sandra Rochon, Mary Johnson and Elizabeth Scales - In recognition of this well-honed team's efforts, which brought payroll processing to a new level of competence. Their accomplishments represent what can be achieved by so few for so many, reflecting the CFPSA motto of "Serving Those Who Serve."
SISIP FS Team, CFB Esquimalt
Steve Kohut and his team exemplified the characteristics of a cohesive and highly performing team by providing outstanding customer service, being innovative in finding solutions for their clients and always assisting one another. More than 1,900 CF members have attended their briefings. They have greatly enhanced the reputation and profile of SISIP FS and the CFPSA at CFB Esquimalt through their exceptional efforts and service.
Renée Trépanier, Education, Marketing and Communication Manager, SISIP FS, CFPSA HQ
Tasked to develop and implement a national personal financial management program for the CF, Renée developed a program now included in the Basic Military Qualification program for recruits and officer cadets, the Preliminary Leadership Qualification course and the Intermediate Leadership Qualification course. Renée's contribution helped lay the foundation for a program attended annually by over 5,000 CF members. This program represents a significant investment in the future financial well being of CF members and their families. In addition, Renée managed the development of marketing materials, including informative and promotional pamphlets that have refined the image of SISIP FS. She also managed the financial contribution to the highly successful Volunteer Recognition Program.
CFPSA Deployment Support & Ops Staff
Marie DeMarbre, Mark Larose, Gord Wells, Karine Vachon, Julie Simmons, Shirley Penny, Keith Burnage, Jean-Pierre Guerard, Chantal Berthelet, Brieanne Hanck - Between April 3 and June 4 the staff responsible for the planning and execution of the Deployed Support & Ops programs performed in an outstanding fashion. Already delivering a complex Morale and Welfare (MW) program in support of Task Force Bosnia-Herzegovina (Op PALLADIUM) with limited resources, the team planned and implemented a full range of programs in support of Task Force Kabul (Op ATHENA/Roto 0) and (Op HALO/Roto 0). This included extensive training for 200 in-theatre employees, while simultaneously delivering deployment support to Op PALLADIUM. This has brought great credit to the CFPSA, and deserves special recognition.
Jean-Marie Perusse, President CANEX/NATEX
For his outstanding commitment and dedication to the CF Exchange System, CF Europe Exchange System and NATO Exchange System. During a 20 year span, he served the Exchange Systems in various capacities. Through his leadership and exceptional knowledge, he provided a high level of customer service and financial contributions to support MW activities for CF members and their families. He exemplifies a commitment to Serving Those Who Serve.
