NPF employees can use the Lake Pleasant recreational facilities

With summer drawing to a close it is time to start planning next year's vacation. If you and your family are thinking of traveling east, and camping is on the agenda, you may want to consider 14 Wing Greenwood's Lake Pleasant facility.

Available to all military personnel, DND civilians and NPF employees, this PSP operated NPF facility offers camp sites, rental cabins, canoe and paddle boat rentals, washroom and shower facilities, theme nights, shuffleboard and much more.

The Lake Pleasant camping season starts on May 1 and runs until Oct. 15. For bookings during the camping season contact the camp manager at (902) 547-2882. For out of season inquires, contact the camp manager at (902) 644-3199, or the camp resident, Capt Bill Brown at (902) 765-1494 local 3166. Cabin bookings are made through the 14 Wing Community Centre at (902) 765-1494 locals 5341, 5337 or 5331.
