Connecting CF Youth Project

During the summer a group of youth from across Canada and Europe created a virtual environment to help youth from CF families connect with each other, their friends and their communities.
Over a five-week period, 70 dynamic young people developed a mock website on which the final CF youth website will be based. What makes this accomplishment so amazing is that only telephone and cyber communicationswere used. Weekly assignments were completed by each working group, returned to the moderator and web master, then incorporated into the mock-up.
Participant feedback has been most encouraging, with 100 per cent of participants indicating they would recommend the experience to their peers. Work on the final website construction is slated to begin in the fall of 2004.
