Regional Morale and Welfare Conferences were a great success
By Brigitte Smiley
Three regional Moral and Welfare conferences were held starting with Halifax April 19 and 20, Ottawa May 3 and 4 and Edmonton May 17 and 18. They all followed the same format, so in the theme of Working Together I will build on my colleagues article about the Halifax conference with some pictures.

John Geci and division heads were present for the two days, giving all NPF employees an opportunity to speak directly with them.

Many interesting presentations were heard. John Geci and division heads shared their extremely successful past results and the strategy for the way ahead. There was also a presentation from Marion Grobb on Effective Internal Communications, from Asfia Sultan on Human Rights and Harassment Prevention, and from Imm Yong on Employment Equity. All of the presentations are available on the Regional Conference section of the CFPSA website at www.cfpsa.com/conference . Have a look at the presentations and learn how we can work together to Serve Those Who Serve.

Many people worked together as part of the organizing committees across Canada. They were so busy running around that we only managed to get these four to stop long enough to pose for us.
