Mr. Roger Young - New Position
Mr. Roger Young has recently joined the CFPSA team as the new Investigations Manager, in the Office of the Human Rights & Harassment Prevention Advisor. Roger has relocated to Ottawa from Winnipeg where he previously worked with the Manitoba Human Rights Commission for over two decades as an Investigator, Mediator, Public Education Officer and Investigation Team Supervisor.
In addition to Roger's career with, and strong commitment to, the protection of Human Rights, he has also been a Commissioner with the Manitoba Clean Environment Commission, an elected Councilor with Winnipeg City Council and was the head Envoy to the United States Olympic Team of athletes and officials participating in the Pan American games in Winnipeg in 1999.
Roger graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BA in Political Science, has completed mediation training with the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and has just recently obtained his Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Manitoba.
