Edmonton Youth Session |
Beginning in October 2003, phase two of the "Connecting Youth" project commenced. Youth aged 12 to 18 years old from CF families along with MFRC/PSP staff and volunteers that work directly with youth participated in "Get Connected" visioning workshops. The aim of these workshops was to obtain feedback and information on youth "connection" needs, expectations, and future considerations. In total, 58 youth from 7 locations participated, with a total of 61 PSP and MFRC staff from 32 locations participating in the staff sessions.
Winnipeg Youth Session |
Our thanks go out to Petawawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Valcartier, and Halifax for their support of this project and for agreeing to host the visioning workshops. Further thanks go to all of the staff and youth participants, without whom these sessions could not have happened. Your collaboration and input in this phase of the project is appreciated and valued.
The final findings from the "Get Connected" visioning sessions, as well as other project updates, can be found on the web at http://www.cfpsa.com/en/psp/youth/index.asp.
