Kudos

On December 12, Claire Létourneau, Human Resources Assistant in Valcartier, celebrated 20 years of service with NPF. Claire gives excellent customer service and deserves to be recognized for her years of dedication. To mark this occasion and have a few laughs, all NPF employees were secretly asked to bring Claire a pen, since she often complains that she loses hers. The celebration was a success and Claire received 101 pens!


On Tuesday, 12 August 2003, MCpl Tina Beland received her Canadian Decoration (CD) for 12 years meritorious service to Canada in the CF. Presenting MCpl Beland with her medal was Mr. Dick Jackman, Region Accounting Manager (West) and Sgt Diane Morin, senior military member of WRNPFAO. Both presenters, having received the CD themselves, warmly welcomed MCpl Beland (far right) to the family of those who proudly wear the CD. Currently a member of the NPF Accounting staff at the Edmonton Garrison, MCpl Beland was born in Trenton, Ontario and began her military service as an Administrative Clerk at CF Recruiting Centre inWinnipeg. She has served at 3 bases of operation in several units, and on peacekeeping duties in Croatia.


Karen Gelinas, LiquorMart Supervisor at 4 Wing Cold Lake, receives her long service award marking 10 years of employment with CANEX from Rick Curren, CANEX RM West.





Marilyn Watson, CANEX RM Assistant, was selected as Civilian Fire Warden of the Year for Edmonton Garrison. Presenting her with the award is CWO Muldoon, Edmonton Garrison Fire Department Chief (left) and Rick Curren, CANEX RM West (right).




Eric Dwyer (left) and the whole CFPSA deployed Operations team at OP ATHENA were awarded the Commander of the Land Force Command Coin for their incredible work.

On September 23, 2003 Col Jean-Pierre Cyr presented 14 CFSU Ottawa employees with their Long Service Awards during a reception at the Rideau Canal Junior Ranks' Mess.
