When I sat down to write this edition of the "Balance is best" health promotion tips, I thought about boring you with a spiel on how a happy employee is a productive employee or even worse give you tips on how to find health information on the internet. Instead I want to challenge you to find ways to have more fun at work. I understand that many of us work in a serious environment, but it's OK to relax a little bit and have some fun every once in awhile. It isn't as easy as one would think, it takes creativity, so here are a few tips to get you started:
-
Work made fun gets done: Play is a state of mind that brings new energy and sparks creativity.
-
When you make someone's day you're on your way: With a small act of kindness, you can make routine encounters memorable ones.
-
Choose your attitude: Stay positive and don't take yourself too seriously.
