Recently, SISIP had the pleasure of taking part in contributing locally to the Volunteers' Recognition Program (VRP). On a trial basis for this year, the VRP is an opportunity for SISIP personnel across Canada to offer their help in the organization of a local event, and to contribute financially to recognize the critical role of volunteers in the military community. In fact, this year, SISIP will be contributing $100,000 towards this program to bases/wings/units.

In the next few months, there will be more than 50 VRP events, in 34 locations throughout Canada, the US and Europe. In total, approximately 6,000 to 7,000 participants will profit from the combined efforts of PSP, the MFRCs and SISIP in recognizing the tremendous work done through the year by adults and youth volunteers.

Teamwork has been and will continue to be the key element for the future successes of initiatives brought forward by support personnel from all divisions of the CFPSA.
