The new Non Public Property (NPP) Vol 1 - Governance and Administration of Morale and Welfare Programs - addresses NPP sponsorship and indicates that only Authorized Agents shall solicit or receive sponsorship or donations on behalf of NPP activities. This same policy that has been endorsed by the NPP Board of Directors, requires Authorized Agents to complete the Commercial Sponsorship Training Course provided by the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency's Personnel Support Programs (CFPSA/PSP) prior to starting their duties.

Two such CFPSA/PSP Commercial Sponsorship Training sessions were offered from May 27 - 30, 2002 and May 8 - 9, 2003. A French serial is targeted for the Fall of 2003. PSP Division Director Corporate Services and Development maintains a current listing of NPP Authorized Agents and accepts registrations for future courses.
