Marie Danais received the December PSP Boomerang Award for her ongoing solid work as the National Physical Fitness coordinator

Marie Danais received the December PSP Boomerang Award for her ongoing solid work as the National Physical Fitness coordinator. Her primary accomplishment was the production and delivery of a plan to conduct EXPRES fitness testing for our over 500 CF personnel in the United States. Until this year, personnel in the U.S. were considered "location excused" and thus could not participate in the EXPRES program. Marie's plan has effectively allowed our units in the U.S. to access fitness evaluations and programs formerly restricted to their Canadian counterparts. In addition, Marie's program has created the opportunity for PSP fitness instructors to travel to places in the U.S. such as Washington DC and Colorado Springs to conduct the evaluations. It is a "win-win" for PSP personnel and for CF personnel in the United States. Thanks Marie!
