Labour Relations Directorate

The Labour Relations Section of the Canadian Forces Personnel and Family Support Services (CFPFSS)/Non Public Funds (NPF) provides various types of services for operational managers, supervisors and employees, through the local NPF Human Resources Offices, including:

• collective agreement interpretation
• advice on grievances
• training/education on labour relations and employment issues
• union relations
• collective agreement negotiations
• advice on labour/employee relations issues
• conduct of certain mediations and adjudications
• liaison with Department of Justice or Treasury Board counsel
• conduct of National Labour Management Relations Committee meetings
• investigations of third level grievances and complaints on behalf of the CEO
