ANNEX E - CHAPTER 11
MOTOR VEHICLE LIABILITY (NPF-OWNED VEHICLES)
COVERAGE

Coverage includes legal liability for bodily injuries or death and/or damage or loss to property of others arising out of ownership, use or operation of vehicles, subject to standard automobile policy conditions. This standard automobile policy prohibits leasing of vehicles to others or the carrying of passengers for remuneration.

Non-owned vehicles are vehicles not owned by NPF but used on behalf of NPF, ie, leased or rented vehicles, but not including POMC's being used on NPF business.
NOTE: This Policy is in excess of coverage required to be obtained under Provincial Vehicle Insurance Legislation and therefore units in these provinces requiring motor vehicle coverage must report acquisitions, etc, in accord with Annex M
EXCLUSIONS

Physical damage to owned vehicles, ie, collision, fire, and theft, is not insured under this Annex. See Annex C paragraph 1 c for coverage provided for non-owned vehicles. See paragraph 11 of this chapter and Annex G for coverage provided by the NPP ClP for NPF-owned vehicles.
DEDUCTIBLE

Unit deductible rates for each occurrence of loss are outlined in paragraph 15 of this chapter.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY

The limit of liability if $1 million each occurrence.
CHANGES TO NPF INSURANCE RISKS

Procedures to be followed when a change in motor vehicle ownership occurs are contained in Annex M.
PROVINCES WITH PROVINCIAL AUTO INSURANCE PLANS

Units located in provinces with compulsory motor vehicle insurance plans will obtain the above coverage under the provincial plan and request reimbursement for premium costs from the CFO&VPI, see paragraphs 34 and 35.
