30 January 2010 – Leafs Canadian Forces Night

The Toronto Maple Leafs Canadian Forces Night is Saturday, January 30th against the Vancouver Canucks and the game will be broadcast on CBC.  Alan Frew (Glass Tiger) has written an inspirational song “Free to Be” which will be performed in the arena with audience participation to show Toronto’s support for our troops.  After the performance, the song will go live on iTunes, and for a 72 hour window, the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Military Families Fund.

2010 Cross Country Motorcycle Ride for Dad and Support Our Troops 

A national cross-country Motorcycle Ride for Dad is planned for August 2010.  Participants will have the opportunity of riding from St-John’s, Newfoundland to Victoria B.C or a portion thereof over a three week period.  Proceeds from the event will go towards Prostrate Cancer Research and the Military Families Fund.
