Governance

General Walter Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), acting in his “Non-Public Property” capacity, has assigned the administration of the Military Families Fund (MFF) to the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency (CFPSA). The MFF will grow through the contributions of Canadians, corporations and other organizations.

The CFPSA is the morale and welfare arm of the Canadian Forces (CF) that provides programs and services for the well-being of the CF community. Many of these programs are carried out by the Military Family Resources Centers, as well as by divisions of the CFPSA that offer family oriented programs.

The MFF augments and enables both the existing publicly and non-publicly funded programs. It does not replace them. For further information about the fund itself, please refer to the MFF Terms of Reference.

The administration of the MFF is guided by members of the “Military Families Fund Executive Committee”  who are volunteers willing to contribute their time to provide leadership and oversight for all activities of the MFF, in accordance with the MFF Terms of Reference.
