This letter of condolence was sent by CFPSA President and CEO John Geci to heads of the U.S. Army and Air Force Exchange System and the U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center - our counterpart organizations in the U.S. The letter was sent on behalf of all CFPSA staff. Correspondence is only in English.

A letter of sympathy and condolence from the CFPSA.

We watched with horror and sadness the events that took place in America yesterday. Although we cannot begin to appreciate the grief and anguish that the friends and families of the innocent victims who lost their lives are suffering, we too are grieving for the incomprehensible loss.

While such inexplicable tragedies leave all of us with a sense of violation and vulnerability, they provide us with unique opportunities to assist one another and respond in a stronger, unified, and mutually supportive voice. On behalf of the men and women of the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency, I would like to voice our support for the American military men and women who are diligently and tirelessly working in rescue and related efforts, and of course, for our American counterparts who are "serving those who serve".

Please know that our thoughts, best wishes and prayers are with you all during this time.

Sincerely,

John F. Geci
President and Chief Executive Officer
