CF National Championships Updates

The 2009 CF National Men & Women Soccer Championships were a great success.  This year the Champion of the CF Soccer Program, Lieutenant-General Arp, officially stepped down as the Patron passing the torch over to Brigadier-General Whitecross (Women's) and Brigadier-General Jorgensen (Men's).

Of special note is the welcoming of the new CFB Borden National Sports Coordinator Ms. Sherri Branscombe and her assistant Mr. Matt MacDonald whose first taste of organizing CF National Championships came during these soccer events. 

Ms. Jessica Witoslawski also took position as the CF National Sports Coordinator in Ottawa back in November of 2008, but was immediately deployed. She returned to work in the National Sports Office in May 2009.
