By Christine Meyer, Communications Advisor, Ottawa
Even though the 2010 Canada Army Run has come and gone, there is still time to take advantage of the Canadian Defence Community Banking (CDCB) program’s special mortgage offer specific to the National Capital Region (NCR) and Petawawa for now.
When authorized patrons take out a mortgage at BMO Bank of Montreal, the official bank of CDCB, BMO will donate $100 to the Canada Army Run.On 10 December 2010, CDCB and BMO presented the 2010 Canada Army Run with a cheque for $8,000.
“The mortgage campaign has been so successful; I am delighted to announce that it has been extended until June 30 2011,” explained Carolyn Booth, Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal, Eastern Ontario District. “By taking a BMO Bank of Montreal mortgage, you get a competitive rate, excellent features and the satisfaction of knowing that your choice of mortgage will generate a $100 donation to the Canada Army Run.”
The BMO Bank of Montreal mortgage offer is valid only at branches within the National Capital Region and Petawawa area. Mortgage applications must be submitted by June 30, 2011 and mortgage funds must be advanced by July 31, 2011. Visit a BMO branch or go to www.bmo.com/mortgagespecialist to find a mobile Mortgage Specialist who can come to you.
“Getting a mortgage was a breeze. The BMO manager efficiently accommodated our specific requirements and enrolled us into other CDCB benefits,” said Major Luc Nadon. “Based on feedback from our friends and lawyers, our rate was excellent.”
Since November 2008, BMO Bank of Montreal has been the official bank of CDCB. This Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) approved program offers a broad range of banking products and services uniquely suited to the needs of the Defence community. It provides great value and is available to Canadian Forces Regular and Reserve Force members, retired and former members, Department of National Defence employees, the Staff of the Non-Public Funds, Canadian Forces (NPF) and family members.
