Air Force clothing now in stores

Air Force personnel and supporters are now able to purchase Air Force branded athletic clothing online or from select CANEX stores across Canada. The clothing line was created in response to requests by Air Force members to wear Air Force branded apparel during fitness and recreational activities. Designed by Air Force personnel for Air Force personnel, the athletic wear marks the first time that Air Force branded clothing will be available for sale.
Surveys were sent out to Air Forces members across Canada this past spring, which yielded an overwhelming response with great feedback and suggestions. After careful analysis, the athletic wear that Air Force personnel preferred arrived in stores.
The athletic wear includes high-quality, competitively priced products. A few of the items are cotton t-shirts in a variety of colors, quick dry shorts and long sleeve tops, baseball caps, as well as crew neck fleece sweatshirts, zip fleece tops, and fleece pants made from Nanotex.
Gilles Charlebois, CANEX Category Manager, says that the Nanotex clothing will be beneficial to “our military personnel [who] need versatile clothing that can help wick away any buildup of perspiration. The new clothing line takes into consideration these factors with fabrics that offer advanced moisture wicking properties without compromising softness, breathability or restriction of movement.”
Gilles Charlebois hopes that this clothing will help Air Force personnel stay motivated and confident and maybe even help them to improve their workout performance. Female Athlete of the Year, Tammy Hiscock agrees: “The Air Force Athletic clothing line is an excellent method to promote physical fitness among Air Force personnel.”
The line may expand in the future based on demand from consumers.
