CANEX and The Personal announce a lucky winner in CFB Borden
|
Imagine a bright summer day. The leaves are green, the sky is clear and the open road stretches before you. The tunes are cranked up loud. At the wheel, the warm wind blows through your hair, the powerful engine roars in response to your slightest touch… It is this great feeling of freedom that Jessica Miedema, a CFB Borden Reservist, will be able to enjoy in her shiny new 2009 Dodge Challenger. She is the grand prize winner of CANEX / The Personal Insurance Company’s 2008 Contest. The contest wrapped up celebrations marking CANEX’s 40th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of its partnership with The Personal insurance company.
“CANEX and The Personal Insurance Company have partnered for over 20 years to meet the home and auto insurance needs of the Canadian Forces Community. We were delighted indeed to present Ms. Miedema with her prize, a new 2009 Dodge Challenger,” said Ken Stilwell, Manager Corporate Programs, CANEX.

On January 29, a large crowd gathered in front of Borden’s CANEX Mall when the car was delivered to Mrs. Miedema.
“We would like to extend our thanks to CFB Borden Base Commander Colonel J.J.R.G Hamel for his participation in the event,” added Mr. Stilwell.
For this year’s contest, CANEX and The Personal invite you to use your imagination and visualize YOUR dream: What would YOU do with $20,000? Entering the contest is easy. Simply request a home or auto-insurance quote from The Personal at your local CANEX outlet. And if you are an existing policyholder, there’s no need to worry, your name has automatically been entered! Start dreaming! “We look forward to awarding the prize for the 2009 $20,000 Picture Your Dream Contest early in 2010 and we encourage all CANEX Authorized Patrons to contact The Personal Insurance Company for a quote and their chance to win,” concluded Mr. Stilwell.
Thanks to CANEX and The Personal, preferred rates, great service and exclusively designed products are available for serving and retired CF members, and for employees and retirees of DND and Non Public Funds. |
