Did we blink; has it been 25 years already? Yes, this year marks CANEX and The Personal‘s 25 year partnership in Serving Those Who Serve and offering home and auto group insurance to CANEX Authorized Patrons .

In 1986, the existing Cansurex program had approximately 3,000 home and auto insurance policies in force. Within one year of the establishment of the CANEX/The Personal partnership, The Personal had transferred and underwritten every policy and was working closely with CANEX to build a meaningful insurance program with a greater reach. “Long term partnerships are rare these days, especially 25 year relationships, Our success together is built on mutual respect, trust, common goals, aligned vision and an extremely good working relationship with the CANEX executive team and their store Managers,” commented John West, Vice President Business Development at The Personal, describing the partnership perfectly. 

Over the last 25 years, this partnership has resulted in exceptional growth to support 65,000 insurance policies. “Together since 1986, we have promoted unique insurance products through CANEX for members of the Canadian Forces, employees of the Department of National Defence, and retirees,” remarked Mr. West.
